III. There are many possible solutions to this problem. The possible solutions are: (Two articles must be attached and annotated bibliography)
The solution that I read in the articles are both for and against abortion. The article I was reading indicated that there should not be abortions becuase that is concidered "genocide". I don't believe that abortion should be phrased or catagorized with "genocide". The other article I read demostrated a simple but affective solution. It said that there should be a common ground. In other words, the soultion should be agreeable for Republicans and Democrats. Another solution can be that there should be no abortions after the first three months. After the first three months, if they abort, they should be punished by the law. We have not yet decided what the punishment would be, but we will discuss it in our groups.
IV. The solution I (we) propose is: (This section will become your proposed legislation. Be sure to include what agency will implement your law, proposed cost if any and effective date)
Our solution was that the abortion could be done before the first three months of pregnancy. In this case, the embryo is not considered a human since it does not have a beating heart, or blood circulating the body. On the other hand, a fetus is considered a human because it has all the characteristics of one. So our solution is that there should be abortions only before the first three months. The agency that would look over this problem will be the Federal Executive Branch. Since this is a federal law and it also includes helath.
V. I (we) think this solution will work because: (You must use factual information to prove your solution will work)
I believe that the solution our group has chosen will work because it compromises with both parties. The democrats want no abortion, which in our proposal, we are having a limit to when the abortion can occur. On the Democrats side, we are having abortions where the woman gets to decide. I also read in an article that criminal rates have gone down since abortion has been legalized. This is so because there are less not wanted children that later in life become criminals.
